AIRPORT WAY

COMMONS

NE Portland, Oregon

Located in the industrial area of northeast Portland, the Airport Way Commons Project is made up of two 22,000 square-foot concrete tilt-up building shells for commercial and/or light industrial business “condominiums.”  They are the 2nd and 3rd buildings in the 3-building complex and complete the overall development.  Designed with flexibility in mind for future owners/tenants, the Project was a success on many levels.  The Developer’s concept was to offer small business owners a piece of ownership (not just a lease) in a building, or portion of a building, within a larger business park – hence, the “business condominiums” concept.   KeyWay self-performed the concrete foundation, forming and erection of the tilt-up panels.  Tenant improvement work followed.
